Laurent & Aurélia

We decided that we wanted to have our honeymoon in South Africa.
We only had 2 weeks!
On the advice of a mutual friend, we met with Delphine and Marc who told us about this beautiful country and help us organize our trip.
Each destination was carefully chosen according to our budget and our personality!
Explore Cape Town, enjoy wine farms in Franschhoek, cross the Blyde River Canyon, see wildlife in the bush, meet a Sangoma in Johannesburg ...
All this would not have been possible without saSafari!
We loved everything, but the safari was the highlight of the trip.
I dreamed of a safari, my husband not as much. He was afraid it was too ‘touristy’ and that three days on the spot is too long!
He did not leave his camera and was like a kid!
We were at Jock Main Lodge, a great lodge in the heart of Kruger.
Our ranger Patrick was amazing, he knew the animals so well and shares with passion all his knowledge. The atmosphere of a safari is unique and it's worth it to do it in the best possible conditions.
We were only six by car and twice a day, at dawn and at night we drove for three hours in the bush and saw so many animals ...
I still have chills. Watching an elephant herd, hearing a lion roar, and watching the impalas dance!
It was all the more beautiful as it was spring there and we could see all the baby animals!
Chance or coincidence, ten days after returning to France I learned that I was expecting a child!
A little girl conceived on the land of these amazing animals ... A little lioness!
Thank you Delphine and Marc for this wonderful unforgettable trip!

Corinne & Aldo

Even though we contacted SaSafari only a few week before leaving, Delphine organized us a great trip.
The accommodations were chosen very carefully and we were provided with some useful information.
We didn't have as much time as we would have loved to, but could take out the most possible. Thank you very much!

Corinne and Aldo traveled through the provinces of Gauteng, Eastern Cape and Western Cape, through Johannesburg, Shamwari Private Game Reserve, Knysna, Hermanus, Franschhoek and Cape Town.

Charles and his family

The trip was beautifully organized even though we contacted the saSafari agency at the last moment and with a number of requests for each member of the family: Dad wanted to do photo safari, the daughter wanted to do riding, the son, hiking, all out in the open spaces, just to please Momy!
Delphine has been very responsive to us concocting a tailored-made stay to satisfy all our wishes. Each stage of this trip was particularly well prepared and we never found ourselves "abandoned" in nature. The accommodation chosen were beyond our expectations with, each time, a very attentive staff.
Thank you for all this beautiful organization that allowed us to take full advantage of this incredible journey enameled with unforgettable encounters!

Fabien & Tiffany

I chose saSafari for its reputation in terms of quality for travel in South Africa.
My trip to SA was to ask my girlfriends hand in marriage.
saSafari booked the private lodge at Kruger National Park which responded perfectly to my request and accompanied me through the whole planning.
The lodge organized a romantic dinner on a mezzanine with magnificent views of the bush and we saw servals, antelopes and even porcupine.
An unforgettable moment thanks to saSafari!
I can only recommend saSafari and a real pure-player!

Fabien & Tiffany stayed in a lodge at Thornibush’s private reserve, in South Africa.

Patel Families

It was a fantastic trip overall. Everyone enjoyed it very much.
We are trying to get back to routine here, but it has been a challenge. When our friends and family ask us what was the best part of the trip, it is very difficult to answer that question.
The hotel in Cape Town was in the perfect location; I don't think you could have chosen better place. We enjoyed having breakfast outdoors every morning, watching Table Mountain covered with clouds.
Samara Manor House was a beautiful house with a fantastic view! Our ranger Marnus was great with lots of knowledge about the property and animals. Our final destination Riverbend Lodge was a very nice and comfortable lodge. Staff was great and always willing to help. Both game reserves had different animals so we got to see all different types of animals. We were able to track them on foot, which was very exciting.
Your service was great and your representatives were very helpful as well in Cape Town. It was a very well planned vacation. All four kids and adults were not happy to come back home. We will remember this trip for a very long time.
This was one of the best trips we have done so far.
We are very happy with you and your team in South Africa.
If we ever do a safari again, we would definitely work with you.

The Patel Families were a group of 8 guests, who travelled to Cape Town, Samara Game Lodge and Riverbend Lodge in the Eastern Cape.

Accustomed to traveling alone, I had the pleasure of meeting with Delphine who helped me organize my stay in three major cities: Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
Through her contacts there, I had the opportunity to visit these cities with exceptional guides well off the beaten track, to go and experience the real South Africa and immerse myself in the interesting history of this country .
An exciting journey indeed. Delphine, thank you for your enthusiasm.

Françoise travelled to Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

We have celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. South Africa has so much to offer and can satisfy all tastes.
We have met travellers from all over the world who were amazed by the beauty and diversity of this land. They were impressed, like us, by the friendliness of the people
and the excellent service we received everywhere we went.
Thank you SaSafari for organizing this trip for us. It has been a Dream Trip!........

Anne and Frédéric

We had had two trips organized by saSafari in South Africa, the first for our honeymoon and the second for our large family (we were 8).
Delighted with our first trip, we wanted to go back with our children and entrust the organization of this great family adventure to saSafari.
South Africa is a country of great beauty and is definitely worth several trips to appreciate all different aspects. There are wild animals but also of course the wonderful scenery, the rich culture and the friendliness of the people.
For our family trip we opted for a tour by car from Durban to Johannesburg with a first stop in Saint Lucia with its estuary inhabited by hippos, as well as experience the warm Indian Ocean and its beautiful beaches.
We then stayed to Swaziland for Christmas Eve where we immersed ourselves in viewing the rhinoceros that were there.
At night we were lulled by the sounds of the bush and woke hearing hyenas in the morning, and were greeted by a herd of antelope. Then we continued our stay at the fabulous Umsisi House, with such gracious hosts.
We especially recommend this magical place both for the beauty of the setting, its location (near the Kruger and the Panorama Route) and reception of its guests.
It was a joy to be with our family in this beautiful house with excellent meals prepared by Paddy! Weather conditions were a bit poor for our tour of the Panorama Road but we still enjoyed the different sites.
There were perfect activities to do with children of all ages, for example the elephant close encounter at the The Elephant Sanctuary. Safaris in the Kruger Park are of course essential too.
In short, everything went well and we were able to enjoy every moment due to the perfect organization of our trip. A big thank you to saSafari.

South Africa – this was our first trip to this mythical country with its interesting history. We discovered two worlds.
Firstly the Cape Peninsula with its impressive coast, the pretty little towns along the shoreline, the omnipresent Table Mountain, as well as the exceptional Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Then we plunged into the bush! Safaris in large wildlife parks where we explored KwaZulu-Natal, Swaziland, Drakensberg and small canyons …
This was very nice trip which covered everything we wanted - despite the many kilometres travelled and a busy program is not leaving much time to linger ... ;-)

The group of 9 people toured the major sites in South Africa: Cape Town, Franschhoek, Durban, the Kingdom of Swaziland, the Kruger Park, Blyde River Canyon, Pretoria and Soweto.

We were touched by South Africa, the country that we visited for the first time.
Everything is in such contrast - the two great oceans that surround it; experiencing four seasons in one day (rain, wind and hot sun); and its great scenery that changes dramatically as you travel the land, (Cape Town, the wine road, the Garden Route and Zambia).
We were struck by the colours of fynbos. November was the perfect time to discover all the flowers on the route to Cape Point and Cape Good Hope. Wreaths of white, orange and yellow flowers spring from this shrub vegetation.
And the proteas, what beauty! In the cities, the trees were in full bloom, one purple, the other red. In Franschhoek, houses were surrounded by bright pink Bougainvillea flowers growing everywhere.
We will long remember the magnificent sunset at Signal Hill. At Mouille Point we were alone on a bench contemplating the sea shore where we had been walking that morning.
Then around the corner as the sun came down came families, bands of friends with picnics and real stemware to sample red wine or white wine on the beach!
At Tongabezi Lodge in Zambia we were surprised to see crocodiles emerging from the Zambezi to warm themselves on rocks, and hear the grunting hippos in the river.
Our nights along the Zambezi began with the singing of insects and the croaking of frogs, and in the early mornings we heard the singing of birds that we had never heard before in Europe.
On our last day, we were awakened by Vervet monkeys who had decided to come and play on the Nut House roof with tree branches!
Sunsets also in Zambia during the evening boat trip were incredible. We were accompanied by a guide giving us details about the wildlife we saw, especially birds, while offering us a gin and tonic out of his cooler.
Unaccustomed but excited to sleep in the open rooms at Sindabezi Island Lodge, we were awakened at dawn to see a glowing pink and orange sky from our king size bed with a mosquito net.
This is the kind of safari experience you dream of when travelling to Africa.
In Amakhala Reserve near the Addo Elephant Park in the Eastern Cape we encountered amazing wildlife: elegant giraffes, a baby elephant suckling his mother while the rest of the herd was grazing the leaves, two rhinos that tested each other head to head,
sudden running zebras, wildebeest, a Cheetah approaching antelope, and a lion coming over the great plain to come say goodnight to his pride and cubs.
Our memory is full of these sounds, the colours and smiles of those who welcomed us.
Thank you to the saSafari team for organizing this trip of three weeks. We often referred to the detailed trip pack you provided finding answers to all our questions, which left us free from any worries about the next step of our journey.
All the arrangements for the transfers, domestic flights, car rentals went very smoothly.
Everything was perfect, on time and with accurate information.

The Goulven Family

Our holiday to South Africa was a fantastic travel experience, where beautiful memories were made for our family.   The tailor made trip, which was organised by saSafari allowed us to discover South Africa at our own pace with our children (aged 6 and 10 years) and taking into account our constraints (4 days in Johannesburg).   The entire holiday was completed to our satisfaction, and we did not encounter any difficulties.  It was an exotic and rewarding trip.   The itinerary designed for our trip met all our expectations, which included encounters with wildlife in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, which had the most beautiful scenery.   All the accommodation was consistently at a very good level.  In conclusion, an excellent trip, well designed by saSafari because they integrated all our wishes, this included last minute changes.

Delphine from saSafari created for our group of four, a two-week trip in South Africa and Zambia on the basis of her proposals for discovery and in answer to our wishes and requirements. All accommodation was remarkable for hospitality, location and comfort.  The availability and friendliness of the staff also helped to facilitate and make our stay enjoyable. Transfers (which included 7 flights) were organised without any setbacks. The itinerary put together by Delphine allowed us to see the major sights of South Africa and Zambia.  We enjoyed the lively atmosphere of the seaside city of Cape Town without forgetting the memorable hike on Table Mountain and the magnificent and protected landscapes towards Cape Point.  We were accompanied by Kelly, a charming and competent guide.  Then we continued towards the beautiful town of Franschhoek with its rolling hills of vineyards and deliciously scented wine. Our stay in Johannesburg was a historic journey into the background of apartheid and an immersion into the past lives of South Africans which was marked by social and racial differences.  Our guide Marianne was able to transmit the fundamentals of this culture. We were looking forward to our stay in the Madikwe Game Reserve and it was a waking dream:  The four days in the middle of the beautiful African bush inhabited by many wild animals that our Game Ranger managed to find in every part of the bushveld; 7-8 hours of safari drives per day.  At sunrise and sunset, so many emotions experienced and amazing pictures taken! The highlight of our trip was in Zambia, where the majesty of Victoria Falls and its "smoke that thunders" fulfilled us.  The stay at the beautiful "David Livingstone Lodge and Spa Victoria" on the banks of the Zambezi was just little too short, we felt.  We could have spent more time enjoying all the amenities.  We do recommend the cruise on the Lady Livingstone during which we passed hippos and crocodiles, tasted sweet and salty foods, and were accompanied by a Zambian orchestra. The trip ended with a flight back to France in an A380 jet. Many thanks to Delphine and saSafari for the choices, organisation and the quality of services offered, and this our unforgettable journey.

It has now been almost a month since we returned.  This fifteen-day trip shared with a couple of friends went perfectly, without any stress, thanks to the flawless organisation by saSafari.saSafari’s on-site correspondents did everything possible, and succeeded in making our journey quite unforgettable.I started writing this testimony two weeks ago.  I then wrote only of the beautiful landscapes, and the feelings which engulfed us at Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Soweto, Madikwe, in front of Victoria Falls in Zambia and on the Zambezi River. All these beautiful images continue to be present daily in our minds.  For the last few days, people also appear as well, superimposed on these images. These people were brave adventurers: Portuguese, Malay, Dutch, French, and others.  They worked, cleared, planted and cultivated to shape and develop the country.  Our congratulations go to them.No compliments, however, to those who by greed and love of power - often combined -, established the apartheid system, hunted elephants for their ivory or rhinoceros for their horns and turn them into their supposedly aphrodisiac powder!Congratulations and thank you to those who, by creating reserves such as Madikwe, have understood that saving the species that have inhabited our planet for so many centuries should be a priority battle. One last word for Delphine, from our hearts: THANK YOU!

Brian and Jeannie

We had a great stay in South Africa and will say in our memories for a long time. saSafari understood exactly what we wanted and organized our safari trip perfectly. Oliver's Hotel was perfect for our first stop and despite the long road to Leopard Creek golf course the next morning, the golf course was immaculately and well prepared for the Alfred Dunhill Cup which made the greens really challenging. The walking safari at Plains Camp was like a being in the film “Out of Africa", with the night under the stars an unforgettable experience.
The Safari rangers have changed our understanding of the African bush forever and we were highly impressed with their in depth knowledge and insight. All in all we are extremely delighted with the trip and hope we may escape once again to this wonderful country.
Thank you saSafari

To organize a trip for 5 people (2 adults and 3 lively teenagers) to South Africa in 2 months was not an easy challenge! And yet saSafari did it. From exploring Cape Town with organised walking and cycling tours. To the mountains by arranging mountain biking and hiking, To a safari in search of the "Big Five" in a sensational lodge the Karula "Wow!". To finish at the warm Indian Ocean in search of thrills, surfing and kiting on an isolated beach. A dream holiday that has been able to fulfil the expectations of the whole family.Thank you!

We can't thank you enough for putting together such a fantastic trip. Everything went so smoothly we didn't have to worry about a thing. All the accommodation was super. Little Makalolo for the safari especially was out of this world, there were more staff than guests and the attention to detail was amazing. It really was the perfect itinerary - it was so good to have the holiday tailor made to cover exactly what we wanted without any compromises. We look forward to planning any other Southern African holidays we may embark upon, with you. Pity you can't put together all our holidays wherever they may be!

In Johannesburg, we were greeted and taken to the first lodge in Madikwe. It was a dream come true!
The children played in the pool and in the evening had an incredible meal of grilled meats as we sat around the fire. It was beautiful, and enjoyed open top vehicles with an experienced ranger to discover the bush. In three days we saw many animals including giraffes, zebras, hyenas, cheetahs, lions and a variety of birds. We then left for the lodge Ant's Hill. This place was even more spectacular! Every day was an adventure. We wandered on horseback near herds of animals, and this is really good way to see the bush and wildlife.
We have a year to save and come back!

Our vacation has been great thanks to you.
Firstly thank you for the itinerary you prepared. The pace was perfect. Three nights in every hotel gives time to settle down without getting bored and the four places were so different from each other.
We found that we definitely received good value for money especially on realising it can be quite expensive in South Africa even during low season.
My report back is therefore extremely positive.

I have the best memories of our stay in South Africa!
This trip was offered to me as a present for my 50th birthday. It was my dream and Fred and the children found it really wonderful.
We were able to get close to many animals. The guides were very professional and competent. My son Victor (14 years old at the time) was very impressed by the lions which were so close to us. We saw a lioness attacking a small wildebeest and the whole herd started defending it. Lots of exciting memories.. Listening to the bush during the night, fantastic lodges, nice people, luxurious rooms….. I will do it again!!
Thank you for the professional organisation
